Being a salesperson isn’t as easy as people think it is. It’s not about calling someone and having a chat with them about the services your company offers.

Name a person who hasn’t failed in life. From Bill Gates to Michael Jordon, everyone has dealt with their share of failure and let-downs. Setbacks are a natural part of life. When you’re working in the corporate sector, most of us will certainly experience failure, or at least perceived failure in what we do.
Remember when you first started your job? It was the first day, you were nervous, a little shaky, but you were excited. You were excited to meet new people, to get to work in a new environment. It was like going on a date with the perfect person.
Part of the art of being a professional speaker is engaging the audience with relevant content that matters to THEM (not you). Therefore, if you want to learn to be a better speaker, then learn to listen to your audience.
